The Ministry of Human Resources and Social Development said on its official Twitter account that up to 60% of localized jobs in communications and information technology (IT) will be in large and mega enterprises.
The step will enable the national cadres to participate in the labor market through an attractive work environment and contribute towards supporting the country’s economy and its gross domestic product (GDP).
Ahmed bin Sulaiman Al-Rajhi, Minister of Human Resource and Social Development, issued, on Oct. 5, a decision to localize the professions of communications and IT in private sector entities, Argaam earlier reported.
The decision aims to provide 9,000 jobs in the field of communications and IT to stimulate the sector’s growth. It has also set the minimum wage of the targeted localized jobs at SAR 7,000 for specialized professions and at SAR 5,000 for technical professions.
