Saudi Arabia announces mechanism for getting Umrah, prayer permits

The Ministry of Hajj and Umrah confirmed launching the updated versions of the Eatmarna and Tawakkalna apps, in cooperation with the Saudi Data and Artificial Intelligence Authority (SDAIA), through which nationals and residents can seek permits for Umrah, visits, and prayers during the holy month of Ramadan.

This technical integration coincides with the decision to boost the operational capacity of implementing the precautionary procedures in the Grand Mosque, as well as verifying the security status and vaccination of the permit beneficiary.

The ministry emphasized the necessity of commitment to the preventive and precautionary measures as well as seeking the permits through the official platforms.
