Saudi Post seeks to become the logistics arm for the Kingdom’s trade and government digitization, according to chief commercial official Abdullah Al Jali.

He explained, during a meeting organized by Asharqia Chamber, that Saudi Post is going through a major transformation journey that requires reshaping the postal and logistics industry, keeping pace with the change in customer trends and focusing on the level of their service.

Saudi Post developed an operational strategy to ensure that the network's design is adapted and integrated to support Vision 2030, Al Jali said, adding that the post provides its services to the business sector through an online platform designed to provide services to the small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs).

The platform enables enterprises to ship parcels easily and at competitive prices while providing full tracking of shipments and dispatch history, as well as providing digital solutions, making it a great commercial platform for future mail services.

He pointed out to several key investment opportunities planned in various fields, namely establishing advanced sorting and processing centers, renewing transport and operating networks, redesigning the retail network, introducing new digital and logistics services and improving customer experience.
