Ministry of Interior announces number of travelers via air, land in 24 hours

Saudi Arabia’s Ministry of Interior announced on May 19, 2021, that 10,450 people left the Kingdom via land and air borders in the last 24 hours.

 

A total number of 18,680 people departed the Kingdom between 1:00am, May 17 and 1:00 pm, May 18, via air, according to the ministry statistics.

 

UAE was the top destination for those travelling via air, followed by Egypt, Qatar, the United States and the UK.

 

As many as 5,717 people departed from Saudi Arabia via land, as the five ports recorded the highest number of departures, with 3,362 via King Fahd Causeway, 689 via Al Batha border checkpoint, 673 via Al-Haditha, 324 via Salwa, and 270 via Khafji.
