Saudi Arabia records 1,269 COVID-19 cases on Wednesday

Saudi Arabia recorded 1,269 COVID-19 cases today, June 2, bringing the total number of confirmed cases to 452,956, the Ministry of Health stated.

 

Recoveries reached 1,081, raising the total number of recovered cases to 435,520 (96% of total COVID-19 cases).

 

Active cases totaled 10,043, of which 1,489 cases are critical.

 

The Kingdom reported 16 new deaths, with the death toll standing at 7,393.

 

Makkah reported the highest number of COVID-19 cases at 444, followed by Riyadh (285), Eastern Province (162), Madinah (89), Asir (78), and Jazan (75).

 

Saudi Arabia concluded 93,210 new tests, bringing the total number of laboratory tests to 19.40 million.

 

Almost 14.39 million doses of COVID-19 vaccine have been administered in the Kingdom to date.
