The report was issued in cooperation with Prince Mohammed bin Salman College of Business and Entrepreneurship (MBSC) and Babson Global Center for Entrepreneurial Leadership (BGCEL).
According to the Saudi Press Agency (SPA), the Kingdom advanced to the seventh spot from the 17th position in the entrepreneurial index globally.
The Kingdom jumped to the top spot globally in the “Ease of Starting a Business” index from the 22nd position. The jump reflects the essential reforms in the entrepreneurship environment for starting a business. Saudi Arabia also ranked first in the “Promising Opportunities” index.
The Kingdom rose to the third position from its 19th spot due to the increase of financing opportunities of all kinds for emerging companies in the local market.
It also jumped to take the second place from 35th spot in the physical infrastructure index due to easy access to many services such as office spaces, commercial sites, the Internet, and public services.
