Saudi Arabia records 731 COVID-19 cases on Sunday

Saudi Arabia recorded 731 COVID-19 cases today, Aug. 8, bringing the total number of confirmed cases to 533,516, the Ministry of Health stated.

 

Recoveries reached 620, raising the total number of recovered cases to 514,982 (96% of total COVID-19 cases).

 

Active cases totaled 10,200, of which 1,405 cases are critical.

 

The Kingdom reported 14 new deaths, with the death toll standing at 8,334.

 

Makkah reported the highest number of COVID-19 cases at 151, followed by Eastern Province (132), Riyadh (129), Jazan (67), Asir (60), Al Qassim (49), and Madinah (39).

 

Saudi Arabia concluded 79,200 new tests, and the total number of administered doses increased to 29.800 million.
