The General Authority for Competition (GAC) approved the economic concentration between Saudi Arabian Industrial Investments Co. (Dussur), Saudi Arabian Military Industries Co. (SAMI), and France's Figeac Aéro in the field of manufacturing airframes, Saudi Press Agency reported.

Accordingly, a plant will be established in the Kingdom for the manufacturing of airframes.

In a separate statement, GAC announced approving the economic concentration between Dussur, Doosan Heavy Industries and Construction, and Saudi Aramco Development Co. (SADCO) to establish a joint venture (JV) to supply castings and forgings.

The authority indicated that it has carefully studied both markets and found that these two projects did not result in any market dominance in terms of market share for all parties.

The JVs will contribute to strengthening the local industry, in accordance with the Kingdom's Vision 2030.
