8 things to watch on Tadawul today

Here are a few things you need to know as Saudi stocks start trading on Wednesday.

 

1) National Agricultural Development Co. (NADEC) completed the construction works on the 30 megawatts (MW) solar energy project in Haradh by operating 10 MW.

 

2) The Saudi Exchange (Tadawul) lifted, on Aug. 31, the lock-up period imposed on Alkhorayef Water and Power Technologies Co.'s (AWPT) major shareholders after six months of listing on March 1.

 

3) Allied Cooperative Insurance Group (ACIG) announced that the board of directors decided to appoint Mohammed Abdullah Al Gadhi as Acting CEO.

 

4) Saudi Arabian Cooperative Insurance Co. (SAICO) received a notification from Al Rajhi Bank to provide insurance coverage for the vehicles leased by the bank through its approved lease financing program.

 

5) Saudi Chemical Holding Co., through its subsidiary AJA Pharmaceutical Industries Ltd. (AJA Pharma), signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with Eli Lilly Saudi Arabia Ltd.

 

6) National Fertilizer Co. (MOBI) posted a net profit after Zakat and tax of SAR 12.2 million in H1 2021, a rise of 10% year-on-year (YoY).

 

7) Albilad Capital distributes cash dividend to Albilad Saudi Sovereign Sukuk ETF unitholders for August 2021, at SAR 0.0165 per unit, or 0.17% of net asset value

 

8) Brent crude on Wednesday gained 70 cents to reach $72.33 per barrel. WTI crude also increased 68 cents to reach $68.19/bbl.
