Minister of Investment Khalid Al-Falih

The National Investment Strategy (NIS) will make drastic changes in the Kingdom’s investment scene, unlocking unprecedented opportunities for investors, Saudi Press Agency reported, citing Minister of Investment Khalid Al-Falih.

This came during the minister’s visit to the US that aims to feature Saudi Arabia as a key global investment destination.

Al-Falih will likely meet a number of US officials to discuss the enhancement of strategic, investment and trade partnerships between both countries.

The minister’s visit will further encourage the US investors to capture the opportunities concurrently accompanying the Kingdom’s extensive economic transformation and available in several economic sectors amid the launch of Vision 2030.

Saudi Arabia is going through a new development phase and seeks to maintain the US investment’s fundamental role in its economic growth.

Saudi Arabia considers US investors as its partners, Al-Falih affirmed, hoping they can seize the enormous opportunities offered amid the transformation phase being witnessed by the Kingdom.

Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman launched, on Oct. 11, the National Investment Strategy, which is a key enabler of the Vision 2030 objectives, Argaam reported.
