Lazurde says Q3 2021 business activities are Shariah compliant

Lazurde Company for Jewelry received today, Nov. 30, a Shariah evaluation report for the third quarter of 2021 issued by its Shariah advisor, Shariyah Review Bureau (SRB).

 

The report indicates that the company’s business activities during Q3 2021 are compliant with the Accounting and Auditing Organization for Islamic Financial Institutions (AAOIFI) Shariah standards and guidelines, the company said in a bourse statement.

 

SRB was appointed as the Shariah advisor of Lazurde to study and examine its business activities in line with AAOIFI issued Shariah guidelines and standards, in addition to other Shariah guidelines and standards mentioned in the report.

 

The bureau will also provide the necessary consultation to help Lazurde continue to achieve compliance with the abovementioned guidelines and standards throughout the period of commissioning as the Shariah advisor to the company.

 

This will be done by providing quarterly reports to the company after reviewing its quarterly financial statements, the statement added.
