Saudi Budget 2022 Forum kicks off today

The two-day Saudi Budget 2022 Forum will start today, Dec. 13, at the Mövenpick Hotel Riyadh.

 

The first session of the event will be attended by Minister of Finance Mohammed Al-Jadaan, Governor of the Public Investment Fund Yasir Al-Rumayyan, and Chairman of the National Development Fund Mohammed Al-Tuwaijri.

 

The second session will be attended by Minister of Municipal and Rural Affairs and Housing Majed Al-Hogail, Minister of Education Hamad Al Al-Sheikh, and Minister of Health Fahad Al-Jalajel.

 

Meanwhile, the third session will be attended by Minister of Investment Khalid Al-Falih, Minister of Communications and Information Technology Abdullah Alswaha, and Minister of Transport Saleh Al-Jasser.

 

Saudi Arabia estimated public revenue in 2022 budget at SAR 1.045 trillion, and expenditures at SAR 955 billion, with an expected surplus of SAR 90 billion, the Ministry of Finance said in its 2022 pre-budget statement on Dec. 12.
