Qassim Cement shareholders approve electing board members

Qassim Cement Co.'s shareholders, during the ordinary general meeting held on Dec. 29, approved electing board members for the next three-year term, starting Jan. 1, 2022, according to a bourse statement.

 

The candidates include Omar Al-Omar and Ahmed Al Sultan, as well as Tariq Al Marshoud and Osama Al Saif as representatives of the General Organization for Social Insurance (GOSI), in addition to Muteb Al Shathri and Muhammad Al Dawood as representatives of the Public Investment Fund (PIF). They also include Saad Al-Mashouh, Abdulrahman Al Rawwaf and Ghazi Al Rawi.

 

Further, shareholders approved to form the audit committee, and define its duties, work regulations and remuneration of its members for the new term, starting from Jan. 1, 2022.

 

The committee candidates include Saad Almushawah as Chairman, as well as Tariq Almarshoud, Abdullah Al-Beraidi and Fawzi Al-Habib as members.
