Jim Golsen, Senior Commercial Officer and Counselor for Commercial Affairs, U.S. Embassy in Saudi Arabia, said a total of 400 U.S. companies are considering investment in the Kingdom, Al Eqtisadiah newspaper reported.

He added that there are more than 150 headquarters for the U.S. companies in Saudi Arabia, noting that there are thousands of firms that do not have head offices in the Kingdom and seek to engage in business with Saudi firms.

The $54 billion trade exchange between the U.S. and Saudi Arabia created thousands of job opportunities in both countries, Golsen said.

He stressed that there are several investment opportunities between the two countries, especially as the U.S. is the world’s largest and most diversified country in terms of investments.
