Saudi Arabia, United Kingdom sign MoU to form Strategic Partnership Council

The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the United Kingdom signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) today, for the formation of the Strategic Partnership Council between the government of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the government of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland.
 

The MoU was co-signed by Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman and UK Prime Minister Boris Johnson.
 

The Strategic Partnership Council was attended by Minister Prince Abdulaziz bin Salman bin Abdulaziz, Minister of Energy; Prince Khalid bin Bandar bin Sultan bin Abdulaziz, Saudi Ambassador to the United Kingdom; Prince Khalid bin Salman bin Abdulaziz, Deputy Minister of Defense; Prince Faisal bin Farhan bin Abdullah, Minister of Foreign Affairs; Dr. Musaed bin Mohammed Al-Aiban, Minister of State, Member of the Cabinet and National Security Advisor (the accompanying minister); Dr. Majid bin Abdullah Al-Qassabi, Minister of Commerce and Acting Minister of Media; Eng. Abdullah bin Amer Al-Sawaha, Minister of Communications and Information Technology; and the UK Prime Minister's accompanying delegation.
 

The Crown Prince received today at the Royal Court at Al-Yamamah Palace UK's Prime Minister. an official reception ceremony was held, after which the Crown Prince and the UK Prime Minister held a session of official talks.
 

During the talks session, they discussed friendship relations and bilateral cooperation between the two countries in various fields and opportunities to develop them, in addition to reviewing regional and international issues of common interest and efforts exerted in their regard, including the developments in Ukraine.
