Anaam International Holding Group announced that the extraordinary general assembly meeting (EGM), scheduled for April 19, was not held due to the lack of the necessary quorum.

In a statement to Tadawul, the company said the meeting’s agenda included voting on the board’s recommendation to increase capital to SAR 315 million, by SAR 210 million rights issue.

Anaam will invite another EGM after setting its date and obtaining the approval of the competent authorities. This meeting will be held regardless of the shares represented.

If the shareholders agree to increase the capital, eligibility will include those holding shares on the day of upcoming EGM and those registered with the Securities Depository Center Co. (Edaa) at the end of the second trading day following the eligibility date.
