Agreement signing ceremony
Jordanian and Saudi Arabian companies signed cooperation agreements, on June 21, in Amman to strengthen their bilateral trade relations.
The agreements signed at the conclusion of the Saudi Jordanian Business Forum included a real estate development agreement between Saudi-based Al-Shagdali Group for developing tourism, commercial, service and construction projects and Jordan-based Allied for Law and Arbitration, according to Jordan News Agency (PETRA).
Meanwhile, Jordon Atomic Energy Commission, represented by Research and Training Reactor, signed an agreement for cadres training with Saudi Arabia’s Modern Isotopes Factory.
Additionally, Kemyea Yanbu for Industry (KEMYAN) and Indo-Jordan Chemicals Co. Ltd. inked a deal to supply phosphoric acid to produce animal feed inputs.
On the sidelines of the forum organized by the Jordan Chamber of Commerce, an agreement was signed between Al Baraka for Import & Export Co. and Doratalhail Factory for Paper Products.
Northern Region Cement Co. signed a convention with a Jordanian company for mining investments.
Elsewhere, other cooperation agreements were concluded, including agreements related to treating olive waste and Umrah and Hajj.
According to data compiled by Argaam, Amman witnessed, on June 21, the convening of the Saudi Jordanian Business Forum, organized jointly by the Federation of Saudi Chambers and Jordan Chamber of Commerce, in conjunction with the visit of Prince Mohammed bin Salman, Crown Prince, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defense to Jordan.
