The General Directorate of Passports (Jawazat) said that Saudi citizens are not required to obtain an insurance policy against coronavirus for traveling abroad, regardless of their vaccination status, while taking into account the requirements of other countries.

On the other hand, Jawazat added on its official Twitter account that family registry does not allow its holders to travel outside the Kingdom.

The national identity is a mandatory requirement to issue or renew passport for dependents of 12 years and above, Jawazat added.
