Jarir appoints Muhammad Alagil as non-executive board member

Jarir Marketing Co.’s (JMC) board of directors approved, on Jan. 1, the appointment of Muhammad Alagil, as non-executive board member, to fill the vacant seat in the board of directors to complete its current term ending March 8, 2025, the company said in a statement to Tadawul.  

 

Alagil was appointed in place of the resigned board member Abdullah bin Abdul Rahman Alagil.

 

Muhammad Alagil is the CEO of Jarir Real Estate Co. and Vice-Chairman of Jarir Commercial Development Co. He previously worked as an analyst and investment manager at Jarir Commercial Investments Co., and as a Relationship Manager at The Saudi British Bank - Saudi Arabia (SABB).

 

He also serves a member of the board of directors, committees in several Saudi companies.

 

Alagil holds a Bachelor of Science in Management Information Systems from Syracuse University, New York, USA. He also earned many certificates in the banking field and many courses in real estate.

 

The appointment is pending the approval of the upcoming general assembly meeting. 

 

In December, JMC announced the resignation of Managing Director Abdullah Alagil from the board of directors for private reasons, Argaam earlier reported.
