IMF expects high growth rates in Saudi Arabia amid global economic need

Kristalina Georgieva, Managing Director of the International Monetary Fund (IMF) stated that the economic growth rates in Saudi Arabia are important to the global economy. 

 

During a session entitled "Saudi Transformation in a Changing Global Framework" at the World Economic Forum (WEF), she added that the Kingdom has a vital role to play in ensuring energy security. 

 

Georgieva said the IMF admires for the way Vision 2030 programs are being implemented in Saudi Arabia. 

 

She indicated that the IMF expects global economy to continue to slow down in 2023.
