Saudi Arabia’s Minister of Investment Khaled Al-Falih said that the National Transformation Program is concerned with the integration of government agencies to achieve the goals of Vision 2030.

He indicated that the vision realization programs contributed to changing the government work culture and reflected positively on the private sector.

During his participation in the National Transformation Program Forum, the minister said that diversification contributed to generating qualitative and diversified jobs that are not dependent on government spending, as well as doubling the number of citizens in the private sector compared to what it was before Vision 2030.

The minister also pointed out that the Kingdom is ranked 17th among global economies and is close to achieving the goal of Vision 2030 to be among the 15 largest economies in the world.

He indicated that achieving this progress comes with unprecedented economic diversification in the Kingdom's history by moving from an oil-focused economy to a large diversification of state revenues.

Despite the great challenges of the global economy, the Kingdom has achieved the largest GDP growth among the G20 countries, Al-Falih noted.

The minister also stressed that the Kingdom is attractive to global partners, thanks to its firm political and financial stability, open sectors and opportunities for mutual investment, adding that foreign direct investment plays a major role in driving technology transfer and access to global markets.
