Saudi Aramco inks SAR 5.2B contract with Sinopec unit

Sinopec International Petroleum Service Corp., a subsidiary of China's Sinopec Oilfield Service Corp., signed a contract with Saudi Aramco to build natural gas pipelines worth SAR 5.17 billion (7.96 billion yuan) excluding VAT.

 

The contract includes procurement and construction for the third phase of Saudi Arabia’s main gas network, Sinopec said in a statement.

Sinopec will execute packages No. 6 and 7 of the pipeline network, with the construction expected to complete by May 2027.

 

Sinopec will build parts of the pipeline grid that includes trunk lines with a total length of 2,630 kilometers and 1,340 km of branch lines, the statement added.
