Muhannad Al-Essa, Deputy Minister of Labor Market Policies at HRSD Ministry
Deputy Minister of Labor Market Policies at Ministry of Human Resources and Social Development (HRSD) Muhannad Al-Essa said the Saudi labor market is experiencing growth across all professions.
In an interview with Al-Sharq News on the sidelines of the 14th Social Dialogue Forum for a Promising and Balanced Labor Market, Al-Essa pointed out that the ministry is seeking to enhance the efficiency and productivity of the Saudi labor market.
Target professions for Saudization witnessed unprecedented growth in employment over the past period, he noted, adding that this uptrend is reflected in the figures announced in the Labor Market Bulletin, which align with the Saudi Vision 2030 and the Labor Market Strategy.
According to data available on Argaam, unemployment rate among Saudis reached its lowest level since 1999 after dropping to 7.1% in Q2 2024, compared to 7.6% in Q1 2024.
