The chairman of Saudi Arabia’s Capital Market Authority, Mohamed Al al-Sheikh, said that a 5-year strategy that will enhance transparency, regulate listing and mergers and acquisitions will be announced next month as the Saudi stock market is getting ready to open for foreign investors.
He added that CMA is currently studying different proposals from several parties regarding opening the market to foreign investors, he was quoted as saying in Anbaa newspaper in Kuwait where he was attending a meeting by chairmen of the Gulf Cooperation Council’s capital markets.
