Al-Babtain to build world’s tallest flag pole in Jeddah

Al-Babtain Telecommunication Systems, affiliated to Al-Babtain Power and Telecommunications, said it signed on November 20, 2012 a contract on the design, supply and installation of the world’s tallest flag pole, over 165 meters in height.

The contract is signed with Abdul Latif Jameel Company Limited, and is one of the company’s social initiatives. The contract’s initial cost is SAR 18.7 million, and the post will be installed at Tariq ibn Ziyad square in Jeddah.

The contract shall be positively reflected in the company’s results in Q3, 2013.
