City Cement to start up new alternative energy project in January

City Cement Company expects to start up its alternative energy project on January 1, 2015 with Sinoma International Company.
 

The project, which will be finalized in June 2015 with a total cost of SAR 25 million, is being financed by the company’s own resources and/or Murabaha agreement; the company said in a filing to Tadawul.

The company added that the project will contribute to operating the second production line and the dates of trial run and commercial operations will be announced later by the company.
