SABIC stock represents the biggest weight on the Saudi Index, at 8.6 percent in the 3rd quarter

The stock of Saudi Arabian Basic Industries Corp (SABIC) has the biggest weight on the Saudi index, representing 8.61 percent of the index in the 3rd quarter compared with 8.45 percent in the 2nd quarter, according to Tadawul report on free-floating shares.

Al-Rajhi bank came second for the first time in 7 quarters, with 8.37 percent, compared with 8.80 percent in the 2nd quarter.

Tadawul index calculates the weights based on the securities that can be traded on the index, excluding owners of 10 percent or more of the shares of the listed companies,

Al-Inma bank advanced to the 8th position, while al- Bilad bank was, for the first time, one of the top 20 companies on the index by stock weight.

Northern Cement Co’s free-float shares increased to 87.9 percent in the 3rd quarter. While Methanol Chemicals Co (Chemanol) increased its free-float shares to 100 percent.
