Saudi Kayan Petrochemical’s board agreed on Monday to appoint Nasser bin Abdulaziz Abnami as the company’s new president, effective April 1.
The board on Feb. 28 accepted the resignation of outgoing president Mazyad al-Khaldi, according to Argaam.
Abanmi obtained his Bachelor’s of science degree in 1992 from King Fahd University of Petroleum and Minerals. During his 23 years of experience, he held key positions in Saudi Basic Industries Corp (SABIC) and its affiliate companies.
SABIC owns a 35-percent stake in Kayan.
