Saudi Arabia’s Zamil Industrial Investment Co. said its subsidiary, Zamil Steel Buildings Vietnam Co., has won a SAR 53.2 million contract from Técnicas Reunidas Malaysia for the Package 3 of the Refinery and Petrochemical Integrated Development Project in Pengerang, Malaysia.

The contract includes the design, fabrication, and supply of about 7,800 metric tons of pipe racks and structural steel platforms, Zamil said in a statement.

It also involves the fabrication and supply of nine pre-engineered steel shelters that weigh more than 600 metric tons for the Refinery and Petrochemical Integrated Development complex project located in Pengerang in southeast Johor, Malaysia.

Zamil Steel Vietnam was set up in 1997 as a joint venture between Zamil Industrial and the Mitsui Group of Japan. The joint venture has two factories— one located in the Noi Bai Industrial Zone in Hanoi, Vietnam, and another at AMATA in Dong Nai.
