Saudia Dairy and Foodstuff Co.’s (SADAFCO) board of directors on Tuesday approved building a new warehouse on the plot of land leased in Jeddah First Industrial City.

The project cost is estimated at SAR 145 million, the company said in a statement to Tadawul.

Construction works will start in May and the new facility is expected to be completed by the end of 2018.

The project will be financed from the company’s operating cash flows.

SADAFCO added that it expects the financial impact from the new project to show in Q2-2018/2019.

The dairy producer had earlier inked a lease agreement with the Saudi Industrial Property Authority (MODON) to lease the plot of land, Argaam earlier reported.
