Four properties of late Sheikh Saleh Al-Rajhi’s estate worth SAR 644 million were sold in an auction on May 6 at the Intercontinental Hotel in Riyadh.
Toarn Center was sold for SAR 246 million, while Electron Center was sold for SAR 91 million, the council responsible for the settlement of the succession (Tsfya Al Rajhi) said on its Twitter account earlier.
Souq Al Riyadh was sold for SAR 101 million, while a 400,000 square meter plot of land in As-Sulay was sold for SAR 510/square meter for a total of about SAR 206 million.
Earlier this year, a court order formed a resolution to auction the estate of late businessman Sheikh Saleh, who was one of the founders of leading lender Al Rajhi Bank. He passed away in February 2011.
