National Anti-corruption Commission (Nazaha) has submitted to Saudi Arabia’s King Salman a draft law on unjust enrichment penalties as part of its efforts to protect public finances and fight corruption, Nazaha spokesman Abdulrahman Al-Ajlan said on Sunday.
While preparing the new draft, the commission observed the provisions of all international agreements applicable in this regard.
The new draft law will apply to all entities subject to Nazaha, Al-Ajlan added.
The Saudi Vision 2030 placed a national responsibility on the commission to achieve well-established reform concepts that can contribute to fighting corruption and mitigating its impact on the development process.
