Saudi Arabia’s King Abdullah Port has signed an agreement to sponsor the third edition of Breakbulk Middle East, which will be held at the Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Center on February 6-7, 2018.

The event will focus on the latest developments in the maritime sector, including shipping of bulk cargo and its future vision and direction, King Abdullah Port said in a statement.

At least 100 exhibitors and 80 speakers are set to participate in the event. The chief executive officer of King Abdullah Port, Rayan Qutub, will present the port’s latest achievements and its approach to develop the future of business both in Saudi Arabia and the region.

“Our sponsorship of this event comes within the framework of opening up new horizons for investment partnerships in conjunction with the launch of our bulk cargo handling services; especially since the maritime transportation sector plays a very significant role in supporting Saudi Arabia’ strategy for economic diversification, which is currently being implemented as part of the logistical Vision 2030,” Qutub said in the statement.
