Finance ministry kicks off portal to automate budgetary communication

Saudi finance ministry launched a web portal, dubbed Etimad, to automate state budget-related communications between respective government bodies and the private sector.

The ministry said on its website the new service seeks to facilitate budgetary communication between government bodies on the one side, and with the private sector on the other side.

The web portal will automate the process of budgetary reporting, spending approvals and other executions, thereby raising operating and spending efficiency.
