Saudi Arabia’s ministries and government entities have realized gains worth SAR 500 million from the use of digital infrastructure technologies, Al-Eqtisadiah reported on Thursday, citing communication minister Abdullah Al Swaha.
The communications ministry launched the national institutional infrastructure for digital government and will submit the related digital transformation plan within 60 days to the Saudi Council of Economic and Development Affairs.
The ministry aims to raise the number of authorities using digital services to 75 percent within the next two years, Al Swaha added on the sidelines of launching the first information infrastructure conference.
