Saudi Arabia’s ejar e-network will begin applying the standard rental contracting system to the commercial sector in Q4 2018, Al-Eqtisadiah newspaper reported, citing unnamed sources familiar with the matter.
The ministry of housing submitted the standard contract to the justice ministry for approval.
The housing ministry is studying solutions to help brokers register the data of potential landlords via the e-program in less time.
A new contract will be launched soon for landlords and brokerage offices in two minutes instead of almost 30 minutes, the sources added.
The Ejar rental service was launched in January to regulate the property rental sector and streamline the contractual relationship between landlords and tenants.
