Al Rajhi Bank, SABIC remain TASI heavyweights in Q2 2018

Al Rajhi Bank was ranked the largest weighted stock on the Tadawul All Share Index (TASI) for the fifteenth consecutive quarter in Q2 2018, data compiled by Argaam showed.

 

The blue chip lender’s weighting on the index rose to 14.33 percent in Q2, up from 13.67 percent in the previous quarter.

 

Petrochemical giant Saudi Basic Industries Corp. (SABIC) came in second at 9.35 percent.

 

National Commercial Bank (NCB) and Samba Financial Group followed at 5.92 percent and 3.8 percent, respectively.

 

Several companies changed ranks in Q2 compared to the previous quarter, as Jabal Omar Development moved down from the fourth place to the sixth place, while Savola slid six notches from the 11th to the 17th place.

 

Saudi Telecom Co. (STC) moved up to the fifth place from the sixth place, while Arab National Bank jumped from the 17th rank to the 11th rank.

 

Dar Al-Arkan and SAFCO exited the top 20 heavy weights on TASI, while Tasnee and Bank Aljazira made an entrance.
