Saudi Arabia's megacity project, NEOM, has received bids for the construction of accommodation and offices for the project’s engineers and supervisors, NEOM’s twitter account said today.
“We are developing the masterplan, undertaking environmental assessments and evaluating bids for the construction of accommodation and offices for the engineers and supervisors to start work,” Neom added.
According to data compiled by Argaam, Crown Prince Mohammad bin Salman in October 2017 announced the $500 billion project, backed by the Public Investment Fund (PIF) as well as local and international investors.
Infrastructure works have already started and the first phase is expected to be completed by 2025.
