Saudi Arabia’s North-South Railway will start transporting passengers from Al-Jouf station next month and from Al-Qurrayat in early 2019, Rumaih Al Rumaih, chief executive officer of the Saudi Railway Co. (SAR), told the state-run Saudi TV on Monday.
Budget packages will be available for daily commuters, such as students, employees as well as families.
The new rail is part of the Kingdom’s plan to link all cities and ports via an integrated network of railways and causeways, Al Rumaih added.
