7 things to watch on Tadawul today

Here are a few things you need to know as Saudi stocks start trading on Sunday.

 

1) Leejam Sports Company's (Leejam) board of directors has appointed Ahmar Azam as its chief executive starting Oct. 25.

 

2) Saudi Industrial Development Co. (SIDC) said that the partners at The Global Marketing Co. for Sleeping System (Sleep High), a 100 percent directly and indirectly owned subsidiary, approved a capital increase from SAR 81.3 million to SAR 100 million.

 

3) Saudi Fisheries Co.’s board of directors has amended its capital cut recommendation to SAR 101.1 million from SAR 200 million.

 

4) Sahara Petrochemical Co. reported a net profit of SAR 529.9 million in the first nine months of 2018, a 51.52 percent year-on-year (YoY) jump attributed to higher sales.

 

5) Saudi Arabian Mining Company (Maaden) is seeking to strengthen its presence in the UK commodity market in addition to other global acquisitions, said its acting chief executive officer (CEO) Darren Davis.

 

6) Al Rajhi Bank saw a negotiated deal on its stock on Thursday, where 185,452 shares were privately traded at a negotiated price of SAR 85.00 per share against an official price of SAR 88.80.

 

7) Saudi Arabia’s Foreign Minister Adel Al-Jubeir affirmed on Saturday that the Kingdom’s relationship with the United States is “ironclad.”
