State-run Saudi Aramco is undertaking 200 projects under various sectors in partnership with local and foreign contractors, Badr Burshaid, Manager of Project Management Office Department (PMOD) told Al Ekhbariya TV.

“These projects are in the gas, oil, infrastructure, petrochemical and renewables sectors,” Burshaid said.

The world’s largest oil exporter said it will offer some projects within the next three years. The selection priority will be given to local contractors.

“Saudi Aramco aims mainly to support the contracting sector, through sharing ideas and experience with the industry players,” he added.

Our In-Kingdom Total Value Add (iktva) program is not only restricted to new awards and Saudization in the contracting sector, Burshaid noted.
