10 things to watch on Tadawul today

Here are a few things you need to know as Saudi stocks start trading on Monday.

 

1) Kingdom Holding Co. (KHC) reported a net profit of SAR 171.4 million for Q1 2019, an increase of 19.8 percent year-on-year (YoY), thanks to higher dividend income and lower operating costs.

 

2) Red Sea International Co.’s general assembly has approved a board recommendation to hold off on issuing a cash dividend for fiscal year 2018 due to realization of net loss during the period.

 

3) Abdullah Al Othaim Markets Co.’s net profit after zakat and tax grew by 1.6 percent year-on-year (YoY) to SAR 68.3 million for Q1 2019 driven by higher sales and improved performance of affiliates.

 

4) Abdullah A. M. Al-Khodari Sons Co. expects to issue Q1 2019 financial statements during May after it posts FY18 financials.

 

5) Al Samaani Factory for Metal Industries Co.’s general assembly has approved a 15 percent cash dividend for the fiscal year 2018, at SAR 1.5 per share, amounting to SAR 2.25 million.

 

6) Jazan Energy and Development Co.’s net loss has widened to SAR 5.2 million for the first quarter of 2019, compared to SAR 3.8 million a year earlier on higher cost of sales, higher selling and distribution expenses and higher public service fees.

 

7) Yanbu National petrochemical Co.’s (Yansab) board of directors has recommended a 17.5 percent cash dividend for the first half of 2019, at SAR 1.75 per share, amounting to SAR 984.38 million.

 

8) Jabal Omar Development Co. reported a net profit after zakat and tax of SAR 1.6 million for Q1 2019, versus net losses of SAR 128.2 million a year earlier on higher revenue from sales of residential units. 

 

9) Bupa Arabia for Cooperative Insurance Co. posted a net profit before zakat and income tax of SAR 94 million for Q1 2019, compared to a net profit of SAR 9.3 million a year earlier.

 

10) Brent crude on Friday gained 18 cents to reach $70.80/bbl, while WTI crude declined 4 cents to $61.62/bbl.
