Saudi Arabia’s Ministry of Communications and Information Technology (MCIT) has signed an agreement with Japan to bolster cooperation in telecommunications and information technology, Saudi Press Agency (SPA) reported today.
Under the deal, Japan will cooperate with Saudi Arabia in developing human capital, enhancing the quality of technological infrastructure, supporting the IT industry and investing in innovation and technology start-ups, the report said.
The agreement includes exchanging knowledge and visits, as well as organizing conferences, seminars and meetings among other activities, it was revealed during the G20 digital economy meeting held in Osaka, Japan.
