Tadawul suspends trading on Alawwal Bank ahead of delisting

The Saudi Stock Exchange (Tadawul) has suspended trading on shares of Alawwal Bank as of today, June 16, ahead of stock delisting procedures.

 

Delisting of Alawwal Bank shares will be completed within a maximum of six trading sessions, the bourse said.

 

The planned merger of Saudi British Bank (SABB) and Alawwal Bank will come into effect today as the creditor objection period expired on June 15 with no objections received by Alawwal Bank, Argaam reported.
