1) The Saudi Stock Exchange (Tadawul) on June 20 will extend the 10-minute closing auction session an additional 10 minutes, ahead of the third tranche of its inclusion on the FTSE Russell Emerging Market Index.
2) City Cement Co.’s shareholders have elected members of the board of directors for the upcoming three-year term starting on June 19, 2019.
3) Riyad Bank has appointed Abdullah Al Oraini as the new chief financial officer, the bank said in a statement.
4) The Saudi Stock Exchange (Tadawul) has suspended trading on shares of Alawwal Bank as of June 16, ahead of stock delisting procedures.
5) Saudi British Bank (SABB) and Alawwal Bank have said their merger resolution came into effect on Sunday, June 16.
6) Mobile Telecommunication Co. Saudi Arabia (Zain Saudi) has signed a Murabaha facility agreement worth SAR 2.25 billion with five banks.
7) Maharah Human Resources Company will start trading on the Saudi Stock Exchange (Tadawul) as of Tuesday, June 18, 2019, with the symbol 1831, Tadawul said in a statement.
8) Middle East Healthcare Co. (Saudi German Hospital) will open the electronic voting on the items of the company’s extraordinary general meeting (EGM) on Monday, June 17, 2019.
9) Brent crude on Monday gained 18 cents to reach $62.19/bbl, while WTI crude increased 11 cents to reach $52.62/bbl.
