Jahez net profit surges to SAR 117.1 mln in 2021; Q4 at SAR 27 mln

Jahez International Company for Information System Technology reported a net profit after Zakat and tax of SAR 117.1 million for 2021, a nearly three-fold rise from a net profit of SAR 39.7 million a year earlier.

The profit surge was attributed to higher delivery fee and commission revenue, as well as increased gross merchandize value (GMV) and average take rate.

The company’s Q4 2021 net profit after Zakat and tax climbed to SAR 27.02 million, from a net loss after Zakat and tax of SAR 1.96 million.

Sequentially, profit declined 56% from SAR 61.33 million in Q3 2021.
