Alamar Foods Co. reported a net profit after Zakat and tax of SAR 66.8 million in H1 2022, an increase of 10%, compared to SAR 60.9 million in the prior-year period.

This was triggered by the significant growth in sales, partially offset by the increase in the costs of raw materials as well as some expenses that are related to the second quarter only. 

 

The company’s Q2 2022 net profit after Zakat and tax dropped 8% to SAR 23.6 million from SAR 25.66 million a year earlier, driven by higher costs of raw materials and increased expenses related to the three-month period.
