The company attributed the leap to a 57% rise in revenues to SAR 98 million, in addition to lower provisions for Zakat and taxes.
The company registered SAR 3.741 million in profits from selling investments in securities.
This was despite a lower gross profit margin from 19% in 2021 to 18% in 2022 as a result of the higher cost of raw paper as well as higher general and administrative expenses by 49%.
Paper Home’s financing costs rose to SAR 421,000 from SAR 279,000 during the same period.
In addition, the company achieved profits from evaluating real estate investments for the same period, amounting to SAR 1.15 million.
Shareholders' equity, with no minority interest, rose to SAR 47.97 million in 2022 from SAR 33.45 billion in 2021.
