National Agricultural Development Co. (NADEC) reported net loss after Zakat and tax of SAR 11 million in H1 2021, from a net profit of SAR 149.8 million in the prior-year period.

 

The loss was attributed to lower revenue and sales of dairy and food processing sector, higher cost of sales and general and administrative expenses, in addition to realizing a grant income of SAR 111.8 million during the same period in 2020.

On a sequential basis, the company also turned to losses in Q2 2021, compared to a profit of SAR 6.4 million in Q1 2021.
