Umm Al-Qura Cement Co. reported a net profit after Zakat and tax of SAR 31 million in the first quarter of 2021, down 19%, from SAR 38.5 million in the year-earlier period.
The decline was attributed to lower sales volumes, higher selling and marketing expenses and a decrease in other income.
On a sequential basis, net profit after Zakat and tax increased by 18.1%.
